The Curwensville Area Revitalization Entity (C.A.R.E.) and Curwensville Borough are organizing a 2016 Great American Cleanup of PA Event in Curwensville on Saturday, May 13th from 9 am to 12 pm.
C.A.R.E. is looking for volunteers to participate. Community and civic associations, schools and youth groups, families and friends, business employees, sports teams, church groups and others can organize their members and participate in the Great American Cleanup for Curwensville.
The Great American Cleanup of PA is sponsored by Keep America Beautiful, the country’s largest community improvement program that engages more than 4 million volunteers and participants from more than 20,000 communities each spring from across the country to take action in their local communities to create a positive change and lasting impact.

Just a reminder that the 2nd public meeting for input on Irvin Park will be on Monday, September 12th at 6:00 at the Curwensville Borough building.
The EADS Group will be reviewing information from the survey that was compiled in July. They will also be soliciting public input and conducting one-on-one group discussions regarding the park.
Curwensville, PA was named as 1 of 10 communities across six states to be included in the Cool & Connected Partnership program. The program will help Curwensville in the development of a Co-working space to provide High Speed Broadband in a shared working space.
Curwensville, Pennsylvania, where the Curwensville Regional Development Corporation plans to create a downtown coworking space for professionals, students, or entrepreneurs to use as an alternative to working from home or commuting long distances.

There will also be a survey for you to fill out and provide us with more information.
