As styles and tastes change throughout the years, so has The Strawberry Tree. Begun as a Christmas shop in 1982, the store was solely stocked with locally handmade crafts.

Today there is a new location, a Tea Room and two floors of gifts that attract guests from a 75-mile radius. The store is now located in the home of Abram Gates, a 19th Century hardware entrepreneur.
